Airport Upgrades
Campbell River Airport is undertaking major upgrades in 2010. The Airport Runway Extension Project will result in two major upgrades to the airport: the runway will be extended by an additional 1500 feet (from its current 5000 feet) and the airport terminal building will be improved. NAV Canada will also be on site performing upgrades as part of a national program.
